Ensenada, Mexico: 3 Days to Build a Home

This Fall, our team had the incredible opportunity to travel to Ensenada, Mexico to build a home for a family in need. This remarkable experience gave our team the chance to showcase our dedication to construction excellence but also act on our values of community engagement and social responsibility.

Building Together in Ensenada:

As we arrived in Mexico, our goal was simple yet powerful – to build a home for a family in just three days. Ensenada, known for its vibrant culture and warm community spirit, became the canvas for our collective efforts.

Partnering with 23 members of the Building Trade Association (BTA), our skilled team worked tirelessly to clean up the designated lot and construct a beautiful home from the ground up.

By leveraging our expertise in electrical work, we aimed to provide not only shelter but also the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable and secure living environment. Understanding the significance of essential utilities, our team took on the task of ensuring reliable power and electricity for the newly constructed home. 

In addition to constructing the dwelling, our team furnished the home with a dining table, chairs, and a fold-out bed. These simple yet meaningful additions aimed to create a warm and inviting space for the family to build cherished memories.

Getting to witness the joy on the families’ faces as they walked into their new home was a moment we'll cherish forever.

Extended Outreach:

Recognizing the importance of community welfare, our team extended our work beyond the construction site in Ensenada. We took the time to visit a female rehabilitation facility and an orphanage, aiming to bring positivity to those facing unique challenges. 

Looking Forward:

As we reflect on our time in Ensenada, we are grateful for the opportunity to use our skills and resources to make a positive impact. The trip is a unique opportunity to take action on our commitment to community development, and we look forward to many more years of building together, creating homes, and fostering a sense of belonging in every community we serve.
