To set expectations on when, where, and how our team communicates with you, we have outlined our key touchpoints and communication methods for a custom home build project.

Project Handoff Meeting

When a project begins, the initial handoff is crucial. You will be introduced to your dedicated Project Manager, who will be your primary point of contact throughout the build. Your Project Manager will explain the project schedule and communicate regularly with you. This role is pivotal in gathering and relaying all necessary information to ensure the project progresses smoothly and is delivered as promised.

JobTread

Our number one goal for communication during the project is transparency. That is why we have invested in a robust project management software called JobTread that keeps you updated 24/7, no matter where you are in the world. We are dedicated to keeping JobTread updated daily so you can always access the status of your home.

JobTread provides detailed insights into:

• The current project status, including notes and photos

• Upcoming steps

• Pending questions

• Payment schedules

Regular Updates and Meetings

To further enhance communication, your Project Manager will facilitate weekly meetings, which can be conducted via Zoom or on-site depending on your preference. 

These weekly meetings will cover:

• The current project status

• Options and recommendations from the Forest St Builders team

• Changes or adjustments that need to be made

• Signoff and feedback 

• Upcoming milestones

• Any questions or concerns from either side

You can also reach out to your Project Manager via email or through JobTread at any time, day or night, if questions arise.

In-Person Touchpoints

In addition to virtual communication, we highly value in-person interactions throughout the project. We are always available for walkthroughs to address any concerns and provide updates. Our team also works directly with trade partners, including architects and interior designers, to streamline the process and reduce your workload!
